Hey guys need some help here. XWindows is not finding my PCI modem. The modem is a Broadxent v.92 56k PCI modem. I've looked for drivers for this modem but had no luck. A friend of mine said its just probably something I'm overlooking in the settings, but I don't know. I've read documentation until I was blue in the face. Any help from you experienced users would be very much appreciated.

is it a so called win-modem...
if so...the modem will not work in linux

you can tell if you have a win-modem
if you have to install software for the
modem to work in windows
