Hi

I have SUSE 9.0 pro installed on my recently built system, and SUSE seemed to detect all the drivers (except the 2D/3D support on the video card is not that great!!!). I have a DFI PS35-BL motherboard with Intel 865G Chipset (Integrated Intel Graphics). I use the on-board intel AC97 sound. the sound works, but when i uses XMMS to play MP3 files, every 2~3 min. or so the sound gets distorted and then it plays the music faster than the normal speed. it lasts for about 10 seconds and then everything goes back to normal.
Any ideas why this might be happening?

thanks
