I have red hat linux, and I need to open a port for a program. How do I do this? I need to open port 3306, 60001, and 60002. Thank you.

This depends on the version of RedHat and what script you are running (ipchains or iptables) for your firewall ... and whether the firewall script is the default or a stand alone version.

Also, does this machine connect directly to the net, or is it behind a firewall ... if there is an external firewall, you will need to set up ip forwarding on the firewall for those ports as well (pointing to the Linux machine).
