Hello ppl,

I recently bought a PCI TV Tuner card and installed it in my computer. However, I am having some problems getting it to work. To start off, when I installed it my harddrive was busted so I was using a Knoppix livecd. It must have done something because I was able to pick "Generic" and set a few options and get it to display the video part [the audio wasnt working]. However I then got a new HD and installed a Knoppix based distro (Kanotix) onto it. It also includes some of the same utilities as knoppix but I am not able to get it to work. Btw... I only got it working under Knoppix 1 time, the next time I restarted and went through the procedure it seemed to work but was stuck on 1 channel no matter which one I chose. The model of the card is: KWORLD PCI TV Tuner, Video Capture Card, REMOTE, Model "VS-TV878RF" [KWRLD CAPTR VS-TV878RF] the link for the model from newegg is: http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc....-100-103&depa=0

Btw, I think its based on the bt878 chip. Also, while I couldnt find the model of the card anywhere on the list to choose from, a lot of them said bt878 next to them so I wonder if another one will work?
