Whats this Lie-nix Thing?

I followed the guide. still don't get a display. ran dmesg and it detected the card fine. ran tvtime and it says cannot open capture device /dev/video0. any Ideas.
I'm running suse 9.1 pro. Worked fine under suse 8.2 and mandrake 9

Ensure that you have the correct modules loaded. Open up a console windows and run lsmod.

Also, paste your dmesg output so we can make sure that everything was alright.
