Im definitley new driver configuration and installation, so far most everything has been supported.
But now im having problems. Im running Knoppix 3.3 (debian), and I cannot get my network adapter to be
recognized. Its a VIA Rhine II Fast Ethernet Adapter. Ive tried a couple of methonds with some
different drivers, nothing seems to work. Also, for some reason nothing shows up when i open the floppy drive,
nor the CDrom drives. If anyone knows of any resources I can read to help me with this situation I would appreciate
it greatly. Or anyone with some spare time to help out. Im willing for eather. Thanks.

you might need to mount the floppy and cdrom, if they're not done at startup.

try
mount /dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy
mount /dev/hdx /mnt/cdrom - where x is your cdrom
