I ran the sound card detection utility in 4h9 KDE and played the test sound. It worked fine. Then, when I tried to play a CD, or even an audio file on the computer, it wouldn't play. I ran the utility simultaneously with the sound player, and the test sound did not work. I clicked on the "play test sound" many times. After I closed out the sound file player, after about a minute of waiting, the test sound played four times. It says that the vendor is Ensoniq and the Model is ES1370. I forgot the module, but it was something like es... Does anyone know what's going on? Thankyou!!
