Hi, I've just installed mandrake linux 8.0 on my system but I am having problems with the display. When I boot the system, the display is ok whilst the booting procedures, but when KDE loads the display goes haywire. The screen goes all distorted and flickers, and you can't make out the text. Also there is a big block of colour next to the mouse cursor. I don't know why, I have tried to change the resolution but it doesn't make any difference. I assume there is some sort of problem with my graphics card (Diamond Speedstar A90), I don't know if it is not installed properly or what. Can anyone help?
