I am new to linux, and hve installed Mandrake 10 (downloaded) on a caddie for use on my home desktop.

I use a wireless Logitech mouse which works fine during the instalation, however upon rebbting the system to finish the installation the mouse pointer is frozen firmly in the centre of the screen.

Is there any solutution to this problem or do I have to dig out my old wired mouse?

Any feedback greatly appreciated

This happened to me too. I had the mouse receiver plugged into a USB port and it wasn't recognized after I booted the system so I put the adapter (that came with the mouse) onto the cable and plugged it into the regular mouse port. Now my wireless Logitec mouse works fine. I know... It sounds too simple, but it works.
