Hi folks,

I'm a nooblet to Linux so please don't giggle too much at me.
I run a Dell 600m with 30Gb HDD partitioned 20/10
On the 20 (c:) had XP and on the 10 (d:) Xandros, sadly whilst upgrading to SP2 the system crashed and i had to re-install XP but befire i did i rescued my files with Xandros and put them on D:
Now i can't load Xandros and can't access d: through XP due to the files system type.
Does anyone know how to get xandros running, Ie what files went missing from c: when i reformatted, is it simply a matter of re-writing boot.ini? i really want to rescue my files.
Thanks in advance for your help
