Hi,

I installed SuSE 9.1 on a pc.
I then connected it to a linux/solaris network.

On the Solaris machine there are programs I
need to run. I wish to export the display
to the SuSE machine.

The steps I follow is:

Open a shell on SuSE machine
Type xhost +
Then rlogin solarismachine
Enter passwd and I am logged in.

Now I do export DISPLAY=SuSeIPaddress:0

Then I run x application on the Solaris machine.

The following error message occurs:

"X Window display initialisation failure"

Please help as it looks like the problem is on the SuSE machine.
I can do the above from another linux machine, so the
Solaris setup is ok. Somehow the SuSE display is blocked.

Thanks in advance.
