How do you use XWindows to implement a non rectangular window.
Browsing through the documentation I have it seems as though using a
"mask" or a "region" it should be possible but I have not been able
to hit on the correct receipe(?)

I have found a rather clumbsy soln if anyone is interested. You have to be working with the C source code of an XWindows application for it to be of any use too you.
Anyone who really knew their XW would probably be horrified!!
