can anyone help me please i have windows xp on my 1st drive and want to install ark linux on my second drive, i download ark linux and burned it onto cd. my problem is that when i try to install it onto my second drive it will not go there (used the 3rd option) it just tells pops up with a bug screen i clicked ok and nothing happens. in the end it did install but it wiped windows xp off the 1st drive. all i want to do is to be able to switch between xp and linux as the rest of the family want to use xp. any ideas what to do. i've seen this mdsum program on the net will it check to see if all the files on the cd are ok.

what does the 3 option say? (sorry, do not have an Ark installed)

if there was an error message with some bug information, then my guess is that installation program rejected your selection and defaulted to the first drive with XP on it; did you read the pop up message? what did it say?
