so I'm using mandrake 10, and I need to know how to get my camera to work with it. after I hooked it up (canon elph SD100, in the unlikely event that it matters) I went to system-->KDE-->peripherals-->camera, it saw the camera, I hit "test", and it said it was successful, but "configure" failed for some reason (un-configurable?). anyway, I couldn't find a path to the camera by which I could download the images manually. "aquire" in gimp was a dead end.

so how do I get images off it?
