I installed SUSE 9.1 personal on an old PIII and everything went fine except when it finished and started the OS I got an warning from my monitor saying that the signal was too high frequency and it won't display anything. I tired a second another monitor with the same result.

During the installation I downloaded and installed all the patches including Nvidia video drivers for the TNT2 Iím using. The failsafe boot gets me to a command prompt but I don't really know how to use it. This is my first attempt at a non MS OS. Itís also possible the hardware is faulty as the computer is built from old parts that were just lying around however it was running Win2K fine before.

Is there an easy way to fix this?
