i have use the command: nmap localhost to see what is the services that already up in my redhat linux server. But the problem is, i didn't see that the postgresql server is in the list. Why it happend?

But i'm sure that the daemon already up because i can connect to the postgresql database from my client already.

Any method that i can use to check out the port number for this daemon?

Please help.
