I have the following command setup in crontab:

0 12 26 8 * zcat /var/log/mail-200408 | statistics > aug04

When I checked the output file it is blank. This command works fine when I enter it manually from the prompt. Any ideas?

Thanks

You need to specify the complete path to zcat

0 12 26 8 * /bin/zcat /var/log/mail-200408 | statistics > aug04
