I'd like to send myself /var/logs/secure every day from one computer to another.

I'm thinking that SCP would be the best way to go about this, since the computer is not on my LAN.

I'd like to set this up as a crontab.daily thing, but if it asks for a password, nothing will be sent. =/

Does anyone know how I can have the password fed into scp?

Look at creating a ssh key, this will be a public/private key that will let one pc talk to another without having to use a password.
