Well. I have a MUD codebase thing, and I want to run it. Cygwin is supposed to do this for me, but I have no idea how. I was told very briefly to compile and start? I can't remember.

I'd appreciate a reply soon.

The codebase folder is on desktop, and I typed:

/make C:WindowsDesktopdystopia

The next line was a >
As if it expected me to know what to type. Psh. Any ....ideas? Please?

So, you installed cygwin, then opened up the cygwin shell window and extracted the MUD codebass archive?

The source code should be located somewhere in your cygwin directory tree (preferably in your /home directory), you need to run commands from within the Cygwin console window, not the Windows console.
