Is there anyone that can help me with installing a network card on linux 7.1 (using tulip driver)?
I'm looking for the most basic utility (no graphics) because
linuxconf doesn't work. linuxconf complains that libgd.SO.1.8 is missing.

Which linux 7.1 is this? Each distribution comes with tools for configuring your network, Redhat, Mandrake and SuSE each have nice graphical utilities.
