I just installed SUSE linux on my computer and now it won't boot off the hard drive. NOt only that, but I can't reinstall windows (It won't boot after first restart) or any other version of linux. What is wrong??

Are there any error messages?
If your windows is XP to remove the boot loader from the MBR boot from the install CD to recovery moded and run the utility fixmbr. If windows 98 boot a emergency floppy disk and run:
fdisk /mbr

There is a problem with SuSE 9.1 (and other 2.6 kernels) with some BIOS / Hard Drive combinations.

Take a look at this info from SuSE:

Your problem doesn't exactly match this, but it might be helpful.
