Whats this Lie-nix Thing?

hi, im new to tripwire and i have problems initializing the database i got this error :

tripwire --init
Please enter your local passphrase:
Parsing policy file: /etc/tripwire/tw.pol
Generating the database...
*** Processing Unix File System ***
Software interrupt forced exit: Segmentation Fault

what seems to be the problem?

redhat 9

Looks like a bad binary file ... how did you install tripwire?
