I am planning a move from Windows to Linux, probably Mandrake. But I have many databases in Access and Filemaker: is there an equivalent product under any Linux distribution? I am familiar with different SQL dialects, but I don't want to go through the process of creating a DB in MySQL and then an interface, piece by piece. Anybody is familiar with some good product?
Thank you for your attention

this is not my area of expertise (what is then ;-) but you can try to export your Windows data as comma delimited values (or tab delimited values) and then import it to OpenOffice (again, this is just a concept, I have no idea if this possible or how to do it);

hope you find this at least a bit helpful
