Another way to install Flashplayer is to copy two files to the plugins folder in Mozilla 1.6 if I have read it correctly. This is the message I get. is there a way around it or a command I have to type to gain access. Thanks for any help

Access Denied
Could not write to /usr/lib/mozilla-1.6/plugins/flashplayer.xpt.part

If I read the directions right, I should be able to copy two files to the folder.

Are you doing this as root?

If you're doing it as a normal user, you won't have permission to write files to that location.

I am not sure if I was doing it as a root. I opened the files up in a window and tried to drag and drop to copy them. I am guessing I can do in the shell console. If so, how do I do it. I am so new to Mandrake(linux) I don't really know what I am doing. I can do windows but not this one(yet).
