OK, two questions. Number one: in Windows I can press CTRL-ALT-DELETE to see running tasks and (optionally) end them. Is there such a keystroke in Red Hat 7.3 (running Gnome)?

Number two: everytime I run Red Hat 7.3 (running Gnome) it asks me to log in. Can I get rid of the login prompt somehow?

Thankyou!

in linux its a command at the command line. top will give you a list of running tasks. Some distros include a GUI task manager that you can get up, but I don't know if Red Hat 7.3 did.

As for the long in prompt, the answer is yes. Unforunetly I don't know exactly where it is. There should be a system settings GUI some where you can dink around with to disable it.

Maybe a Red Hat users can help us out here.

AFAIK, Mandrake gives you an option to login one user automatically at boot time and I never heard that Red Hat offers this, but I might be wrong on this one.
