Hi,

Well just downloading icon themes from art.gnome.org, I've read the faq

so I extracted them tar.gz files to /home/robert/.icons/theme/
did the same to the rest of em , I used differend directory names theme2 theme3 etc...

now when I open up the theme manager, click details, and icons, I cannot see the new themes ... what am I doing wrong here?

also...

why isn't there a gnome-themes-extras package with yum ? (or am I using wrong repostories, downloaded the one from www.hughesjr.com)

Sincerely
Robert B

The only theme packages for gnome on RHEL (and therefore WBEL/CentOS) are:

gnome-icon-theme
gnome-themes

there is also:
kdeartwork

I am looking at installing the themes at art.gnome.org on WhiteBoxEL ... I'll post more about it later.
