Whats this Lie-nix Thing?

Hi All

I am having trouble registering my Red Hat 9 which was shipped with the Chris Negus RH9 Bible as there is no registration number documented. The RH web site does not cater for requests on topics of this sort. Please Help.
PS. Request that you do not share illegal numbers or registering keys.

The registration is only for RedHat boxed sets...not the downloadable version of RH9.

It might be that the SSL certificates are expired ... as is usaully the case with a RH9 install ... see this link:

As RedHat no longer supports RH9 ... using up2date pointed at their RHN isn't very useful now, but I think you can still register at RHN for free and then use that username / password to get updates.

Probably a better idea is to use apt-get to do updates from ... or yum from
