I want to use Linux to allow members at our club to use an internet PC for web browsing only. I want to do a couple of things and I believe that Linux probably has these features available to it. First I want a timed login session. When I give out a login name and password I want it to be good for only a 30 min session. Once the session has expired, the login name should be useless.

Second I want the X desktop to be empty except for Mozilla or Netscape or whatever. Also I want only "root" to be able to start anything other than the browser we decide to run. How would I do this?

Thanks to any and all who offer their help.

Cheers
Rod
