trying to install mandrake 8.2 on a windows xp home dell laptop and ive got all the way to the installation stage where u have to partition two drives for a swap and a root partition. it will only let me create one or another and therefore wont let me onto the next stage!

help me please!!

what sort of error message are you receiving?

what partition tool in the install are you using?

Have you tried partitioning your drive with something like partition magic while in windows?
