Good morning everyone, now im looking for information about super formatting, how can i do that in linux, and if there a form to know if my floppy drive support it. I just know, this type of format give a floppy the capacity of support 1,722 kb of information. I'm interested in that because i'm trying to learn everything about linux, and a find an distro muLinux, and this is delivered in files with this format.

Thanks in advance.

Virtually all 1.44 drives support 1.722 just fine, but it is possible for
an extended format to break a floppy drive. According to the install guide there are DOS tools included to create a 1.722 disk.

On creating a superformat floppy a quick search yielded:

I have no idea if it works.
