I can't seem to get Mandrake 9.0 to recognize my MS explorer mouse, just comes up as a wheel mouse, is it possible to use the explorer buttons ect. on the mouse in Mandrake? and if so how might I go about that?
Thanks

If your mouse is a usb, try something like the following in your /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file:

QUOTE
Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Mouse1"
Driver "mouse"
Option "Protocol" "ExplorerPS/2"
Option "Device" "/dev/usbmouse"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "6 7"
Option "Buttons" "7"
EndSection

There is a good chance this would work.
