Well after years and years of windows and even some server admin under windows server I decided to setup a little linux server (learning is good for you). So I grabbed slackware 9.1 and installed it. The installation was pretty straightforward and I went ahead and installed everything on the disc minus the Gnome GUI. Now I had an issue where lilo failed auto install so that is something I need to deal with (boot ing from the slack CD now =P). But I just realized I have just about no idea how to navigate the bash shell, I'm really lost.... Any help would be appreciated. I simply can't seem to get around, some dumb part of me though it would be enough like dos that I could wing it, yeah sure biggrin.gif my mistake I suppose. Anyways I would really appreciate any help you guys could give me smile.gif
