hello there

i recently put fedora core 2 onto my laptop a vaio pcg-tr3a which is a fairly new laptop.

ive been able to locate beta drivers for the wireless card it uses a intel pro 2200bg ipw2200.sourceforge.net

i have downloaded the driver and compiled it. however as a linux novice i dont know where to go from here to run/install the driver.

can anyone walk me through this or point me in the direction of tutorials? thanks.

I don't think that driver works yet ... it is a 0.1 release ... and I think it only loads and unloads, but getting it to transmit and recieve is scheduled for later (based on the documentation I read).

E-mail the POC: James Ketrenos

....At the bottom of the page on the link you provided....He should be able to gie you the lowdown.
