i installed redhat 9 gui . the problem is while completing instalation in the end it asked for gui login or text login. so i selected txt login by mistake. now how to access gui user mode . plz help me

you need it edit your /etc/inittab file, change the line
id:3:initdefault: to id:5:initdefault: you can do this from the text promt, or if you want, you can run the command startx to get a graphical interface, eitherway, ounce you make the change it will boot into graphical from then on. -------------------- --Jim Lester
