I'm thinking about offering users free @linuxhelp.ca email accounts (either through webmail or an email forward to your existing mail account).

I'm just trying to get a feel if anyone would use this/want this.

Let me know (feel free to PM me)

Hi,

I'm in smile.gif smile.gif , that would be great .

Questions :

1. Can we choose our own passwords?
2. How much will be the mail queue?
3. What will be the max message size?

I think webmail would be a better solution , no? I mean I just started my long journey in this linux mail server stuff,
and webmail is a lot easier then doing that forward here , get from there stuff.

Sincerely
Robert B

With regards to your questions, this is still just in the planning stage. I want to see if there is interest in it before we build it.

Thanks

Oh,

okay, I just thought I'd ask what are the plans for those things once there is enough interest in this...

Sincerely

I would love to have a linuxhelp.ca address!! It can go with my other linuxhelp.ca address and my two linuxhelp.net addresses. Wheeeeeee....

I already have enough email address to confuse the hell out of me...lets see...

3 @ thegoodtimes.ca
2 @ linuxhelp.ca/net (not sure exactly how many)
1 @ gmail.com
2 @ hotmail.com (those that haven't expired)
1 @ yahoo.com
1 @ yahoo.ca
2 @ nf.sympatico.ca
1 @ northatlantic.nf.ca (still hasn't expired even though i've been finished school there for 4 years)
1 @ tweak3d.net
1 @ apexmail.com
---
Alright, that's enough of that.

thats an impressive list, I thought I had it bad checking four, but you can allways use a fifth, I can totally get rid of a couple of them

1) @umn.edu (have to have the school one)
2) @doomtriangle.com (our (weak) forums sight)
3) @hotmail.com (got to have somewhere to send all the spam)
4) @mchsi.com (home address)

I think a fifth linuxhelp.ca would be cool I would use it just because it has the word linux in it and it reminds everyone that I am better than them because they use windows.
