Is there a way to add another account just as powerful as 'root'?

If so, how could I go about doing that? smile.gif Thanks.

Well, there's only one root smile.gif

The next closest thing is using sudo. Install sudo, and edit your sudoers list by running 'visudo'. Add a line towards the bottom that reads something like:

duende ALL = NOPASSWD: ALL

After you save the file, you can execute any command as root by the regular user with:

sudo whatever command
