Hi, I need my ident to be ben

xinetd came with Red Hat Enterprise that I'm running

now i created a user "ben" and when im logged in as ben I need my ident to be ben (or i dont care if the ident for the machine is ben no matter what im logged in as) for the program called pftpfxp-mew

Basically when I connect to an ftp site, the site does a ident request and now the box is giving it *@<ip here> when i need it to send "ben" as my ident, ben@<ip here>

how do i get xinetd going?
