Attempting to upgrade my 2.4.20 kernel to 2.6.6. Downloaded the new kernel
installed and compiled it. NFS works just fine with the 2.4.20 kernel
However, on boot, the NFS daemon fails to start.
Using an AMD 32 bit processor on one server and on the other server an AMD
64 bit Opteron. The NFS daemon seems to fail on both.
Is there an option I need to set?
The only additional option I've configured is for 386 and for the EXT3 FS to
be part of the kernel instead of a module.

Any help would be appreciated.

Chuck,
