I just upgraded to Fedora and now my sendmail server is doming something new and annoying. It is sending mail as:

triordan@sid.timriordan.com

and not

triordan@timriordan.com

I have played around with the sendmail but have not resolved it...
Any help would be appreciated

Look in the /etc/mail/sendmail.mc file for a line like:

MASQUERADE_AS(`put your host here')dnl

rebuild the sendmail.cf (make -C /etc/mail) and it should use the new hostname.
