I am having a serious problem in compiling the bandwidthd, i went thru Google and came across this forum, I am getting the same error that some one else has discussed before, I have updated the gd and the gd-devel packages but Istill get the error....I am using Fedore Core.

Make sure you have gd-devel installed ...

The relevant error is:

bandwidthd.h:24:16: gd.h: No such file or directory
bandwidthd.h:25:21: gdfonts.h: No such file or directory

Everything else is caused by that...

------------------
If gd-devel is installed, do this:

updatedb

After it finishes, do :

locate gd.h

If you find the file, copy it to /usr/include

Same for any other files ... but I would say that gd-devel didn't install.

Here are the files gd-devel contains:

/usr/include/gd.h
/usr/include/gd_io.h
/usr/include/gdcache.h
/usr/include/gdfontg.h
/usr/include/gdfontl.h
/usr/include/gdfontmb.h
/usr/include/gdfonts.h
/usr/include/gdfontt.h
/usr/lib/libgd.a
/usr/lib/libgd.so
