I am installing linux yellow dog 3.0.1 on a clamsehell ibook 366 mhz, and it works fine to a certain pont. I can set up all the perferences like the packages to wish to install and it formats and partions the hard drive. It starts to install but a little bit into the install process it freezes, usually well installing some kind of windows x package. I get no error report, it just freezes. Any suggestions.

Are you configuring the kernel yourself? As far as I know, in order to get YellowDog onto a mac you have to tweek a couple things in the set-up. Mac hardware is a little different than PC so some things have to be set different, let me dig around for a bit and I will see what i can come up with.
