can anyone help me with info in regards to diald? i want to allow dial on demand only for qmail. I am running a mitel sme server & gateway and I want to disable diald's dial-on-demand except when the server needs to download email which is typically once every hour. has it got anything to do with hosts.allow & hosts.deny???

There should be a /etc/diald/diald.options or diald.conf file (somewhere) that you can edit to do this.

I have no experience with diald myself, but I found a site that might help.
