Hello, I'm having problem installing tripwire...this is my first time doing it.
I get the following error:
# tripwire --init
Please enter your local passphrase:
Parsing policy file: /etc/tripwire/tw.pol
Generating the database...
*** Processing Unix File System ***
Software interrupt forced exit: Segmentation Fault
#
Im currently using Tripwire® 2.3.0.47 for Linux running on a Mandrake 10.0 (Community) release.
Any ideas on what might be the problem?

Thanks

What kernel are you running?

I had a look on google (http://www.google.ca/search?q=tripwire+Software+interrupt+forced+exit%3A+Segmentation+Fault&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&meta=) and found a few posts about how tripwire does not run well on 2.6.x kernels.
