I know there are a number of ways to get Trinux to boot off of the hard drive instead of the floppy, but what's the easiest? Also, how can I get it to keep the packages I download.

Thanks for helping a Linux newbie.

I was un-able to find any instructions on how to intall Trinux to the hard drive. Where have you heard that its possible? I guess my only advice would be to go back there and look into that.

My other advice would be that if you are really looking to have a bootable linux system to look into systems designed to boot from the HD. They are going to give you the best results and most stability. All the packages that are included in Trinux can be found an installed to your boot system.

Thats the best I can do for you having never used Trinux.
