Linux Help & all it's services will be offline for 2-6 hours on Saturday May 22nd 2004. I am planning to bring everything down around 9 or 10pm eastern time.

The end of life for Red Hat 9 is at the end of this month, so during this outage I will be updating the OS and possibly adding more RAM.

Thank you for your continued support.

CentOS 3.1 is also pretty good .... http://www.centos.org ... and I don't see them going anywhere. CentOS has more developers and is part of the bigger cAos project.

I think John Morris and WhiteBox are going to be around for a while too ... on the mailing list he is talking about how he is structuring the FTP servers for both possible respins of RHEL 3 (with the quarterly updates) and for RHEL 4.

I think either would be a very stable server environment ... And, if all else fails, we (I) can build the RHEL SRPMS from scratch as long as RedHat continues release them.
