hello, I am fairly new here

just wandered, someone sent me a file in xchat. How do i find out where the file was put.

If this is a question that has already been asked, please merrily send me to the link becasue i could not find anything.

OK, i have the answer now

as my name is daniel, naturaly i have a dirctory called "daniel" in /home

the command to find out where any xchat downloads are stored is

/home/daniel/.xchat2/downloads
