Here is a good way to get it totally up to date.

Do everything as root. First run the command
urpmi.removemedia -a

urpmi.addmedia Disk_1 with ../base/

urpmi.addmedia Disk_2 with ../base/

urpmi.addmedia Disk_3 with ../base/

urpmi.addmedia update_source with ../base/

each one on a single line executed one at a time.

now do

urpmi.update -a

urpmi --auto-select

You should be ready to rock at that point.
