Hi there. I need some help desperately. I have this project in which i have to add security features in the transport layer. I'm adding a lot of code there like encryption, digital signing, compression algo. etc. I had added the compression algo. code at the transport layer and then recompiled the kernel to see if it works. After booting to the new kernel and running my server-client programs, it crashed... : (
I also have another problem related to the same. I was opening a file, which is the input to the compression algo. using the kernel function" sys_open()". I am not very sure how sys_open() works. I suspect that the system crashed becoz of this. Anyone out there who've tried this before?
