I am trying to install a program but it comes up that it is missing 2 files. The missing files are:

ld.so.1
libasound.so.2

Can someone please send a link where to find these.

P.S I'm using RedHat 9

Hi,

download apt-get for rh9 here : http://ftp.freshrpms.net/pub/freshrpms/red...c6-fr1.i386.rpm

rpm -Uvh apt-0.5.5cnc6-fr1.i386.rpm

apt-get update
apt-get install [the name of the software]

for example
apt-get install mplayer

it will download dependencies to,so you dont have to worry about them, and install the program for you.

sincerely
robert b
