Whats this Lie-nix Thing?

i get this error when i try to start sendmail with webmin

Failed to start sendmail :
sendmail: fatal: file /etc/postfix/ parameter mail_owner: user postfix has privileged group ID

Just to forwarn you, this is just a shot in the dark. happy.gif

Perhaps the user "postfix" was added with too high of a uid (I think is the term)?

Perhaps you could edit the config file to have it run as a diffrent user, (or try starting this program as a diffrent user than the one you used to get this error message)
